Chocolate Nice Cream

Vegan chocolate banana ice cream that will change your life.

  • 1-2 frozen bananas
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • plant-based milk add less for a thicker ice cream consistency and more for milkshake thickness


  • 1-3 tsp maple syrup or agave


  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until free of clumps. I would start with about 1/4 cup of milk and adjust from there. Add more milk if you want a thinner consistency, like a milkshake. (I normally just eyeball it.) If you made it thinner than you wanted, add more banana to thicken it back up.
  • Pour into a cup or bowl, and enjoy the shit out of it. You can thank me later. Freeze any extra (but LBH...you probably won't have any ?).


You could add some additional frozen fruit in here for a different twist. Mixed berries, blueberries, and/or strawberries are also really good. 
You could also add a pinch of cinnamon or a little pure vanilla extract. 
Use coconut cream (canned stuff) for a thicker and richer ice cream.
